We are thrilled to celebrate the completion of the ARENA III program and welcome the 2024–25 cohort as the newest ARENA alumni!

Endorsed by the Arctic Council Sustainable Development Working Group (SDWG), ARENA III brought together 17 exceptional individuals from across the Arctic—representing diverse regions, disciplines, and Indigenous perspectives. Over the past year, the cohort engaged in an immersive journey that included visits to clean energy facilities in Alaska, Nunavut, Nunavik, Greenland, and Iceland. Along the way, they met with energy champions, Indigenous Elders, policy makers, and local leaders committed to advancing renewable energy and sustainability in Arctic communities.

The ARENA III program is more than a learning experience—it’s a platform for building enduring partnerships, knowledge exchange, and community-based leadership in the transition to cleaner energy futures. The 2024–25 participants have demonstrated a deep commitment to collaboration, innovation, and Indigenous-led approaches to energy solutions in the North.

To the ARENA III alumni: thank you for your dedication, your ideas, and your vision for the future of the Arctic. We look forward to seeing where your leadership takes you—and how the connections forged through ARENA will continue to grow and inspire change.

A heartfelt thank you to all our partners, local hosts, The Capital Collective, and the entire 2024–25 cohort for your dedication, collaboration, and commitment to advancing renewable energy in the North.
